Actually a really cool game! I enjoyed it a lot. I noticed shooting the barrels spawns a black hole, but I wasn't quite sure what its role was since it didn't kill the enemies when they got close. Still, super fun concept and I hope to see more enemy and room variety in future updates!

Developer

It doesn't kill enemies instantly; it drags them inside and kills them once they are within.

The very fast firing rate of the enemies kinda encourages trench warfare sort of gameplay, and the duration of the black hole is pretty long it can break the flow of gameplay. The movement is great other than the finnicky climbing mechanics and the jump height that bonks you on the ceiling. The semi-auto firing can cause fatigue on the finger with the amount of shots you would need without special clicking techniques. (I'm sure someone can exhaust the mag in less than a second.)

Despite the shitty comment you left on my game… I have to say this is my favorite game of the jam. The breakcore music set a nice ambience, the gameplay felt smooth and polished, and I actually sat down and played through until I had a couple of thousand scores. So yeah, great job.

Developer

I didn't mean to insult your game; I was just sharing my preferences. I'm sorry if you misunderstood.

I like the sfx and the fun title screen. The game felt a little repetitive, but the movement felt smooth. Good job, friend!

Developer

I understand—there wasn't time to create more room variations.
