The game starts in full screen indeed. If you never get past the first screen the game doesnt get the chance to save. At the start of the scene with the rbeathing, the screen is indeed black, but after a few short seconds it's supposed to wake you up and a dialogue plays. Can you confirm that this is indeed not happening? Waht device are you playing on also?
