I can see why Puppy would adore her to bits, the FL was cute&prettyy, honestly both of them were adorables they deserve a lovey-dovey future onward! their expressions unique to the character and the little tells of the guard’s gestures were a relish to notice! im curious on how the guard came to earn the petname “puppy”, though i can see why.. 👀 I think a bit of their backstory flashback, or the guard’s POV might deepen the appeal of their dynamic more, and it could show the building drive of dependency from his side for completion to what we already see from the FL’s perspective of him adoring so (especially considering there were two endings out of the three that had him being overwhelming, to connect the sense of paying off result from the ground up). Just in my opinion, too, to add, I felt the description of telling did a bit too much heavylifting, like some adjectives on the way of manner/action the characters do. Aside from that, i did like how FL’s character shone out the most here, with her being the proactive one and still had her own flaws.
also i found some typos, i gathered it under the spoiler label:
