Hello!

I published my very first game called "The Way" 20 days ago. It is completely free, has no payments or donations enabled, and contains a valid Windows build.

I have already read the "Getting Indexed" documentation, and verified that my page complies with all rules (it has a proper cover image, metadata, and playable files). However, the project is still completely missing from the search bar and browse sections.

Could a moderator please review the page and manually index it?

I checked where The Way stands from outside, logged out, on 25 September around 10:15 UTC.

Searching itch.io for "the way" gives 54 results on the first page, and The Way is not among them. That alone would be weak, since the title is common, but it is also missing from itch.io's public games sitemap (1,989,464 game pages, read this morning), which is the list of pages itch publishes as indexed.

For comparison I ran the same search for six other pages linked in "not in search" topics on this board since 22 September. Four of them now come up first or third for their own title, the other two do not. Three of those four topics had a moderator reply saying they would help speed things up; the fourth had no reply at all and got in anyway. Your topic has no reply yet, so it may simply not have been seen.

A caveat so the sitemap is not over-read: across those 7 pages it disagreed with search twice, once in each direction. Searching your exact title while logged out is what matches what a player sees.
