The core mechanic can get frustrating, but probably just needed time to be polished. There's a slight issue when the enemies won't be able to hit you once the blackhole is out.

Developer

That is fair. Although the enemies not being able to hit you is somewhat intentional given that the black hole can be a threat to yourself as much as it is a threat to the enemies. Thank you so much for playing my game!

It's really cool that your game has a story! I loved how the black hole grew and its pull got stronger every time an enemy or object got sucked in. If you keep working on this, it would be awesome to see more rooms and new enemy types in the future!

Developer

Thank you! I wanted to add more rooms and enemy types but I ran out of time :(. I probably won’t expand on this specific game but I do want to expand on the universe with John Evil (just because I think the name ā€œJohn Evilā€ is really funny)

The game was very well made considering… executing the idea and turning the concept into a game, but the gameplay was a little tiny bit frustrating. I can’t really put my finger on why. But I was pulling my hair out after the fifth run. But I digress. It was very original and the physics worked beautifully, the art was funky and I overall like the game. Well done.

Developer

Thank you very much! I did notice that players were getting frustrated but by that time the game was already out. I’m glad you liked the game! This is actually my first ever finished game so I’m happy. Thank you for playing!

I like the character sprite a lot and the art looks nice. I found the sfx a little confusing and got lost a couple times. Good job!

Developer

Yeah, the SFX were hastily added in and I didn’t realize how incredible loud the footsteps were until I released the game. Thank you for playing!

I like the fact you put a couch in the hallway as well as a bathtub up against a wall lol
