I haven't been able to download anything off of itch.io all day (September 11, 2026). I've tried multiple games, but nothing has worked. I can download things off of other sites, so it's not a browser or computer issue.
The specific issue is this: I click the download button (not the one that leads to the download page, but the one on the download page), and nothing happens.

Has anyone else had this problem?

edit: this might be a wi-fi issue, actually. i managed to download something when i switched to my hotspot. as far as i can tell, blocking downloads from specific websites isn't a thing (and it isn't in my wi-fi provider's interests to even do that for itch?) but i figured i'd mention this here anyway

I'm having the same problem but switching wifi did not fix it for me.

It's the same for me I can't seem to download anything and I tried ticking the option for other download sources but nothing works. 

I also have the same problem. the problem for me seems to be a server related. The file transfer starts and holds a steady download speed but after several seconds the bitrate will decay to zero and say there was a connection loss
