[ForHire] [Paid] [Tester] QA Testing for Indie Devs — Bug Hunting, Min-Spec Testing, Performance Monitoring

Hey all, I offer QA/playtesting services for indie devs, with a focus on something a lot of solo/small teams don't get much of: low-end hardware testing. I test on a low-end PC (and can also test on a budget Android device), monitoring CPU/GPU/RAM usage live to help pin down actual bottlenecks, not just "it feels laggy." This is genuinely useful for figuring out realistic minimum requirements, since most dev machines are well above what a lot of players actually run.

Background: I've done playtesting and bug reports for a range of indie titles across genres (tower defense, MMORPGs, roguelikes, puzzle, deckbuilders), with consistently strong feedback from developers, and I've moved into ongoing direct testing arrangements with devs I've worked with.

What I look for: bugs (with reproduction steps where possible), performance issues tied to specific hardware behavior, UX/onboarding clarity, and balance/systems feedback.

Deliverables: a recorded playthrough, plus a written report (bugs, performance notes, UX feedback, suggestions) — happy to follow your own feedback template if you have one.

Rates:

  • $10/hour
  • $40 for a 6-hour session (discounted for longer/deeper testing passes)

Feel free to comment or DM if this could be useful for what you're working on.

Do you offer a free sample?

Yes, I do trial sessions

I would like a trial session for my puzzle game, Dualspace. I would like feedback focused on User Experience, as I am preparing to shift the game into a demo with a paid full version.

I understand. Do you have a Discord so I can send you the report?
