Interesting one, though I might've screwed myself by picking Ranger. Finished demo, level 32, can't kill PKers, barely get rares, haven't even seen epic, can't even find a gold weapon (assuming there is one), nor a rare weapon even.

Potions are borderline useless (15 Health is like a quarter of a hit), aside from auto-target I haven't encountered any reason to use bots.

Maybe the idea is to just get a bot and have it run around for hours, hoping for good drops, but compared to the length of the game currently, I just didn't feel the need. Not to mention I'm not sure I could even automate Dark Orcs, let alone Underground.

must be a skill issue, I easily beat the game with ranger lvl 31. with this build and some basic kiting. great game, well done. i kinda dont get the auto pathing tho, bc if you set up two points to patrol, the character moves so fast, that the ranger basically does not shoot anymore :)

Dunno what You mean by skill issue, I stated I finished the game. It's just that by the point I was done, the Player Killers (especially Mage and Hunter that can't be kited) had such high health and damage that I couldn't deal with them on manual controls, much less on automatic. Can't really kite enemies that autotarget, lock on and hit you regardless of line of sight or range, not to mention you can't move and attack aside from skills, so kiting takes yet another hit.

As for auto-pathing - this one's a bit too complicated Imo. You need auto-pathing, auto-targetting and walk to target just to make use of it. The idea is to set up a path, set up the auto-targetting area just big enough to cover every enemy on that path and then turn walk to target on to make sure the character gets close enough to attack and stops for long enough to deal with enemies in range. It's not really a complex system by itself, but I was expecting just a box to set up a path and automatically kill everything on the way.

Played some more (or more like let the game play itself), after a while finally started getting Epics, currently level 51, have gotten maybe 25-ish. Really low drop chance overall for barely an upgrade. Some items seem to lack a Gold tier version (can't find Gold Bow for the life of me).

Epic gear overall feels like a downgrade, because once you get it, it's most likely worse than an upgraded Rare, a Rare that can be upgraded very quickly due to overall Rare drops, meanwhile Epic not only has to actually drop, but then you need like 15 more of them just to scrap and upgrade, getting like +1 damage in the end. Takes hours, if not days, barely makes a difference.

Figured out botting the thing, but you still need enough Health/Armor/Damage to actually survive an area to make use of this. Differences between gear tiers are at the same time so small (like 1 damage and 1 upgrade per tier/rarity) and so big (with no other way of increasing damage but + flat from items, +1 when you're dealing 10 total is huge), that it always makes going to the next area and just farming that one Uncommon/Rare a better choice, both gear- and exp-wise. Never found a reason to farm a previous area, because the gear was simply bad. Maybe farming for Epics/Rares to scrap, but you still have to do that manually and even then the exp is bad, so might as well level faster in a higher zone and bot that.

No button to sell all. No button to scrap a single item (I thought the hammer would do that, but it just clicks and does nothing). Don't understand why cost of restocking the shop scales with level, if it still gives the same random (maybe slightly tier-adjusted) stuff. I can't consistently get Gold tier gear, yet price for restocking went up from 240 gold (first time I saw Gold gear in the shop) to 510 gold, because that's my level now.
