Frightening! reminds me of The Binding of Isaac type of dungeon, but in a horror style!

The unsettling atmosphere was captured quite well, even though that’s hard to achieve with pixel art. Personally, I find the action-horror blend a bit odd (especially with a “child” protagonist), but maybe that’s just me. I would have liked some audio controls, because the sound is too loud when using earbuds.
I'm sorry that I couldn't add something for the audio, but I was really strict on time... Thanks for still playing even after all the things!
I really liked the spooky atmosphere, the movement it's extremely smooth and has a nice feel, the only problem that i had is that the attacks do hits enemies but they just don't care and keep standing in the same position, this way i just loose all my healt in one go, apart from that realy nice game!
That's my fault bc I tried to make the knockback work like I did with the player but it didn't really work out very well... Still thanks for playing and the great feedback!

It's a fun game to play! Just one little detail: the attack sound effect feels very loud to me, especially if you compare it with the music :)

For the sound effect it was kind of meant to be loud since we wanted it to feel like a child screaming, but at the same time we couldn't tweak it a little due to the time. Thanks for playing!

Molto caruccia l'idea della barra, anche se l'avrei resa una feature più evidente e a tratti più pericolosa dei nemici se capite cosa intendo, però per il resto mi è piaciuto! Molto molto difficile, e molto carucci gli sprite e la musica! Anche se ad un certo punto improvvisamente la ost si freeza, ma immagino sia sempre dovuto al limite di tempo della jam :')
Consiglierei anche di abbassare di poco il volume del sfx dell'attacco in futuro, per il resto bel lavoro :D
