The character art looks absolutely gorgeous! The concept of an otome game based around liminal spaces is very intriguing to me. I have my eye on Eli... I love the rogueish antihero types. And one who likes Pokemon? Send him my way.
I'm sorry that you've already gotten a complaint about having a female protagonist before the game even released. From dev to dev, add customisable pronouns if that was in the original vision - don't do it if it's only to placate someone who chose to make the first comment on your game a negative one.
