Take my opinion with a pinch of salt, as I don't usually play card games. I liked the ui overlay before starting the game that showed me where is everything and what does it mean/do :) I was a bit confused that the cards seem to be random during each round (or I just didn't notice that it added random cards to ones I did not use during previous round...?). I got beaten in level 2 in second round (I think? there was the cutscene with Timmy overcoming social anxiety but lying crying on the ground) despite having 20/20 of life if I understand correctly. The artwork was pretty unique, it was consistent in style which is good, I liked it (although on my dark screen, during late evening, it was like I was looking like a supernova explosion, definitely not intended for such playing scenarios :P). For me it gave a flash game era vibe. Music was good, I listened to it and not got bored or annoyed, so it is even very good I would say).

Yeah, there's a whole system in place that allows for cards to carry over and be saved between levels, but i didn't have enough time to add extra content and implement a shop system, so this is all we could scramble together by the end. I don't really play card games that often either, so this was also my first time programming something like this. ✌️❤️
Well, good job then, as it appears the only thing that was confusing is the one that you had to rush out at the end, so that is understandable, most of us had to cut corners near the and due to overscoping I guess :) And good for you for wanting to try new genres, I teamed up with a friend during this jam and will probably also try out his ideas during next jam, just to self-improve and do something "fresh" :)
