This is such a cool idea! Fantastic music and art, and I really like the UI. It's fun to play a nicely thought out small game. Super fun! If you're looking for feedback, here's some thoughts:
- On the first tutorial, sometimes charges spawn behind the "collect 3 charges" tooltip. Personally I would make the tooltip slightly transparent when / if this occurs
- IMO the tutorial is too wordy, I kindof just skipped through it bc I wanted to play, but then realised the game is a little different to usual "hit thing to damage it" games, so I had to restart the tutorial. It's not too bad, maybe I'm just being lazy, but I think a few of the points could be split up into 1 or 2 line tooltips that are shown sequentially on the game itself (like speech bubbles), rather than in a big text box
- Personally, the score didn't do much other than pause the gameplay. In its current state I think it might actually be more fun with the score just being counted at the end, bc it would be more chaotic and stressful to play, which is what I tend to enjoy from these types of games. The pausing each time I made a hit felt a little like it was slowing me down, rather than being rewarding
- The scroll wheel closes the "Your Drive"-titled menus, I assume its mapped to something bc no other button other than esc seems to close them. Just a random odd thing I found that you might want to remove
- Also, very niche point again, but I think adding icons for the WASD controls would make it more readable as they stand out more (you can add images in RichTextLabels in Godot)
But, these are all just my opinions on the game, I think it's really fun as it is, if there was a wishlist button I would 100% be pressing it! I think it has potential to be a really fun game with some more mechanics / levels etc
