Cool concept! I liked the mechanical look of the central structure and the tension of tracking enemies while the laser lines keep shifting. My main issue was readability: enemies are very small, and the dark background makes the action hard to follow. Stronger visual feedback would help a lot.

Yeah, the zombies used to be lighter colors but I worried that it would look weird since it's obviously night in the game. Almost left them though.

cool idea!

I feel like the crystal theme isn't really there but the laser mechanic is pretty fun. If you could augment lasers and have different enemies it would be pretty sick

The zombies are infected with magic crystals, it is a little hard to see though.

cool idea with lasers, but I don't really understand the crystal theme implementation: like are they crystal zombies?

Developer (1 edit)

The zombies got infected by magical crystals growing out of them, I should have made a scene with exposition but got lazy.

It's kind of like cordyceps except with crystals.
