i like the concept, first rhythm tower defence I played!

First rythm-based TD I've ever played. :D

The concept is really good and the graphics are good, music is chill.

Two things I think could be improved is higher chance for "extra tower" bonus and better indication of beats.

I really enjoyed the idea of a tower defense where the player needs to stay actively involved instead of simply placing towers and watching everything happen. Having to interact with the enemies while also thinking about tower placement makes the waves much more engaging and gives the genre a fun twist. The timing mechanic also fits the limitation really well. One thing I would improve is the feedback for precise timing: making a Perfect hit feel noticeably stronger or more satisfying than a regular hit, through extra damage, effects, or sound, would make mastering the mechanic feel even more rewarding.

I survived the horde! Very cool, I have never seen a TD + rythm game hybrid before. The pixel artstyle looks great as well. Looking forward to see more if you decide to develop this further! The player could use some strategic choices to make, right now I think you could place the towers anywhere and use whichever crystal and you would still win. But you did a great job with the time frame that you had!

Cool game! I really like the concept of mixing the real time element of rythm with tower defense.

Never thought of  a tower defense and rythm game combination, it's kinda perfect since it gives you something to do during the actual levels.
I wish there was some other rythm indicator higher on the screen like the towers blinking
