Description
In a mountainous region, I ventured into a forbidden area in the woods and got lost. I came to a lake that no one seemed to know about. Old abandoned houses, not a soul. But a rowboat. The water was mysteriously still. I climbed into the boat and realized there wasn't a sound. When I reached the middle of the lake, the water began to ripple, a current formed, and I understood why no one knew about the lake.

Tracks:
- Surface Tension
- Resurface

IMPORTANT

The tracks were designed as adaptive music, so it's completely normal for them to contain several different sections and transitions. The idea is that different parts would play depending on what is happening in the game, allowing the music to react dynamically to gameplay.
Because of this, the pieces may feel more segmented or varied than a traditional standalone composition. The different sections are intended to represent different game states, moods, or levels of intensity while still belonging to the same musical theme.

I think it's great! Very minimal, but I could listen for a very long time and not get bored. I'm not sure I like the direction you took in the second half of track two, could've eased in a little better even in the context of adaptive game music. Overall good listen!

From the go "surface tension" is such a good name.
Both tracks are really good, they create a good atmosphere, the main motif of the second track is very similar to the main motif of Hollow Knight.
They are however a little repetitive, I get the adaptive part, but each looping section should be longer.
Good job, specially on the adaptive music part, that's something really hard to achieve.

It kind of diverges from the theme in the second half but the song it self has no flaws.

Sweet piece, very minimalist, would work very well in your adaptive music system, it can easily loop adding textures and more variations. I would agree that it is indeed more quiet, you have enough headroom to crank the volume on everything and still make it sound decent, its great to compose and record at low volume but when it comes to the final phase now is the time to shine your mix.

I think the adaptive idea is nice and a fun approach. However I think it's difficult to hear, it's on the quiter side of things.

Musically it's nice, but there are a lot of small chunks of transitional silence between what I assume are part of the adaptive approach to this.

The adaptive design is a fun approach, and it clearly fits an indie game setting!

Very Ambient, Adventure-like Album! I like it.

Super cool music. I loved the swells and piano on Surface Tension. Gave me Expedition 33 vibes.
