Technically that's the point of negative bar (they hate you) and the choice on some (hate/want to leave the crew) dialogue tends to appear because of the negative bar context.
Respect bar, desire bar and friendship bar are different but also correlated depending on the branch of dialogue you made.
And the main desc says they can have sex despite hating you.
