I happened to come across a great example of a first project. Basically, you guard an anomaly, and you have one, binary choice on the first day. The endings are a little extended, but the do tell a complete story. The bit about clicking the button is not necessary, but probably because the Dev wanted to learn how to manage interaction with images, and adds a little flavor. https://coolg1319.itch.io/the-pretty-thing-behind-the-glass

Omg thank you for recommending my game! It means a lot to me <3 And yeah, in hindsight, the button-clicking wasn't needed, but at least I learned something new! :D

The button clicking wasn't a dig. It's the kind of thing you do to learn a skill, and it will probably help you in your next game with more point and click elements.

My point was just that clicking button is even more than you absolutely need for a basic, first time VN.

And thanks for sharing your game with on Itch :)
