The concept was delightfully wacky! I did struggle getting up very far as I'm not a platformer person, but I was proud of the progress I made. I love the idea of the plants providing the boosts and being used in such different ways.
No problem! I saw two snails at once yes, I got to the top and then it seemed to go into a different camera view but I could still move around as a separate snail(the original). It's definitely a bug since I had lots of reference to an object errors. I don't think I was doing anything else at the time besides moving around.
Very cool concept !
But I think the scope is way too big for such a small jam, the idea has potential but you'll need time to polish the game and make it enjoyable to play.
I had a fun time climbing the tree tho, and I can say I got to the top of it :D (I used many jump flowers in the same spot to make myself fly in the end but still, that counts right ?)
I’m afraid I had some trouble with the camera. The character snail is really lovely. It is quite original and shows a lot of potential. My only lament is that the snail’s “voice” was a bit too loud, overshadowing the nice, relaxing music behind it.
Love the snail 3d model. Controls are a little clumpy and the games lighting feels weird. Good game overall
Funny concept for this one! I didn't get too far because I kept falling off the platforms, and I couldn't figure out how to fix a misplaced jump flower. I did like the idea that in a climbing platformer like this, those flowers wouldn't have to be placed again every time you fall. I did keep seeing null reference exceptions pop up when I used the powers, not too sure if they were impacting intended gameplay.
