Complicated!

Gameplay wise this was pretty hard to grasp. I found the mechanics to be fun, but it was very poorly explained and I am still not entirely sure if I was playing the game correctly. The game gets overwhelming very quickly and while I understand why you went for that for a vampire survivors game like this, but the projectiles being fired at me were pretty hard to see, and combined with the excessively large UI, it caused me to take damage and die to things I couldn't see and it felt unfair. The game itself is fun, but there are some unfair elements to it, that make it feel frustrating at times.

Visually, the sprites and effects are all pretty good, but like mentioned previously, the hard to see bullets and large UI hindered the visuals a lot.

The audio was good but a bit loud. Also I got a notable audio bug. I set my SFX and Music Volumes to 25% and when I died and returned to the menu, the volume got reset to max, but the slider still said 25%.

The theme interpretation was frankly just confusing to me, and I didn't understand it.

I think the core of this game is great, but there is a lack of polish here. I will say that if it was there, this could genuinely be a steam release.

Thank you for the feedback! I actually added tutorial level so you can understand the mechanics. And I know UI is bit too large and projectiles are annoying, I'll fix it when I upload it to Crazy Games (maybe Steam). Yeah, there might be some bugs because I didn't have time to test everything myself. I tried hard to make it polished, as your comment suggests, I have more work to do than it seems. Thanks a lot!

this is a very fun game!

the sound, art styles and ui are a perfect fit, the only thing that was bothering me was probably how it is a really confusing game at first playthrough, i didnt know what i was doing

Thank you very much! You might want to play the tutorial first if you don't really understand

There is a lot going on here and I like the idea of having to fight while also managing the furnace. It makes it more interesting than just walking around and shooting everything.

My biggest problem was how chaotic it gets. On hard especially there is SO much happening that sometimes I dont really know what I should focus on. I think reducing some of the visual clutter or making enemies easier to distinguish would help a lot.

I also had a weird problem after choosing an upgrade. The water starts spraying immediately and I cant really control it for a moment. I think the game should ignore attack inputs while the upgrade menu is open and only start reading them again after the menu fully closes.

The water range also confused me a lot. Visually the stream looks pretty short but enemies much farther away still take damage. Id either make the actual hitbox shorter or extend the water effect so you can clearly see the real range. Right now its hard to tell how close I actually need to be.

The UI is also quite large and when everything gets busy it starts covering too much of the screen. Making some parts smaller or more transparent during combat could help.

Still a pretty cool game and I can see a lot of work went into it. With some clearer feedback and less chaos I think the gameplay would feel much better.

If you have some time please check out my game too! Id really appreciate a rating and some feedback :)
