This is a strong submission. The Lydian mode was a perfect choice for mystery and discovery, and the distorted drones paired with pitch-bending water SFX really sell the idea of sinking deeper into something beautiful and unsettling. The raw piano recordings give it a warmth that VSTs would've lost. One small note: around 3:24 there is a suspended drop that came across more like a playback glitch than an intentional pause. I think it was the absence of a trail that might've contributed to that feeling.

Overall, really amazing submission!

Thank you, I appreciate it! And omg YES, the suspended drop part has been one of the main parts upon listening back that Iโ€™ve had gripes with. I liked the idea of something reality breaking so I wanted it to sound like a glitch, but Iโ€™m realizing on a listen back it does sound a little TOO jarring ๐Ÿ˜
