The night and day swapping was enjoyable and satisfying, hats off to whoever came up with that idea!

Developer

I'm glad to hear it! :D The original idea came from Scraggy, one of our Jacks! :) The idea changed a little since then of course---originally, it was going to involve dodging ghosts that appeared at night in order to reach the end of the level.

very fun and simple game. Definitely challenging with the jumps but I'm sure I could get the hang of it.

Thanks! :D

Fun puzzle platformer! The last level in particular was really good with you being able to switch to make some cool jumps. I think it's a little too powerful to be able to drop  the gem at any time and just pick it back up again. The audio and sound effects were really on point.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad to hear it! :D

Always a fan of stealing.

Fun! I really enjoyed the chiptune music. Tutorialization was pretty good, though it did take me a bit to figure out I could double-jump on lvl 1 (tried walljumping to get to the gem for a minute or two, wasn't getting me any closer lol.) The difficulty really ramped up on lvl 2 with some very clever platforming challenges!

Finished my playthrough in about 10min. Nicely done! Quite a bit of gameplay/challenge packed in there, and the illustration at the end was a nice reward.

Bug: "Main Menu" button in credits submenu does not seem to be working

Thanks! :D Good to know about Level 1. We'll see about reworking it, maybe add a platform so double jumping isn't necessary until Level 2. And we'll def look into the Main Menu button not working. Thanks for letting us know!

I had a pretty good time bouncing around in the levels, the platforming was fun to mess around with and after a bit of working with it the controls were fairly intuitive. Love the music!

Thanks, glad to hear it! :D

i love the idea and the art, very cute!

i will admit that i very quickly found a way to abuse the wall jump mechanic... the player is able to jump off a wall and fall back onto the same wall, which lets you scale vertical surfaces pretty easily. i'd consider nerfing it a bit, since most of the levels could either be cheesed or escaped entirely (out of bounds)

however, the intended solutions were a lot of fun too! the movement feels responsive and good, and the swapping was easy to get the hang of and used in interesting ways. good work!

Developer

Thanks, glad to hear it! :D Yeah, we definitely struggled with the wall jump mechanic. Our only idea was to limit the number of wall jumps, similar to a double jump. But that caused the ability to be effectively useless, since double jump would get you anywhere that the wall jump could lol. I'll keep thinking on it, maybe limit it to three or four jumps? Hmm. Again, thanks for the feedback! :D

The game looked cool at the showcase... The in-browser version isn't working, though :(

I had issues getting the browser version to work as well, though the Windows .exe worked just fine!

Yeahhhh I think I need to rename the html file I uploaded to "index" ^_^' I'll be sure to fix that after voting ends. Sorry for the inconvenience

Can't play the game since  there's only a linux version, so I'll be reviewing based on  what I saw at the showcase. I liked the premise a lot, I think it was really creative and the possibilities for puzzles is endless!

There isn't any audio though(at least there wasn't in the showcase, don't know if that has changed).

That's odd, is the Window's version showing up for you yet?
