Fighting games aren't usually my genre, but FIERRO is well made and I had fun with it. The sound effects are great, the blood effects work well, and the challenges are fun; I even managed to land a couple of K.O.s! The main thing I'd improve is the character graphics, which feel a bit behind the rest of the game. There's room to grow, but it's already an enjoyable game with good potential. Keep it up!

Thanks Nalim — genuinely glad the sound and the feel landed, and that a couple of K.O.s happened in a genre that isn't even yours.

You're right about the characters, and it's exactly what I'm working on now. Everything in FIERRO is generated in code — no modelling tool, no image files, not a single texture on disk — which is why the bodies lag behind the rest of it. What's next, concretely: proper joint deformation (elbows, knees and shoulders currently pinch when they bend), a lot more geometry where the eye actually goes, real surface detail so leather, cloth and skin stop reflecting the same way, and higher-resolution skins.

Chasing your comment I already found a bug: two fighters were rendering without parts of their clothes and hair. Fixed and live.

Thanks for taking the time to write it out — this is the useful kind.

That's super impressive that everything is generated in code without modeling tools or image files! Explains a lot about the movement, and it's awesome that you're already working on improving the joint deformation and textures. Also, props for finding and fixing that clothing/hair bug so quickly! Keep up the great work, I'll definitely check out future updates.
