I thought it was a lot of fun - though I do think using mouse feels very easy compared to wasd so I would recommend choosing one and balancing around it (though I am honestly fine with either, they are both totally fun in their own way.) wasd causes a great brain mismatch issue when you are on the bottom of the moon since your controls effectively reverse while mouse doesn't have that issue.

I don't know what your genre mashup is here though - you said extraction shooter which is very much a genre but this doesn't involve shooting so I was a little confused there. But I loved the rest of it.

I've never felt so old or decrepit. You gotta have the reflexes of a 16 year old Korean Brood War player if you last two minutes here^^
They could use this as training software for combat pilots or something.

Sprite work is crisp though.

I love the mechanics and concept.

Love the concept - the moon can't move, you can! The heat mechanic is brilliant - you can't just smash everything, you have to pick your moments. The pulse + the different rock types (armoured, splitters, comets) keep it interesting. That slow-mo bonus when you kill right at the surface feels so satisfying! Great guarding! 🌕💥
