Team members and roles
Jeremy (itch.io: JeremyBarr) — developer. Bev — writer.

How did you interpret the themes?
Factory games are about making progress last. In Everhold, the world renews at dawn and exposed work disappears. Gather resources, build production lines and keep a protected home running across those resets. A narrative adventure through two towns gives those systems a purpose: deciding where and how you want to belong. The collision is factory building × time-loop survival × narrative adventure.

I instantly loved the look and the feel, even on browser plays and works well which is great accomplishment for this size of a game! Really like the direction of how it looks and sounds the instant cosiness. If I had one thing to complain about it would be I wish I was introduced in smaller steps? there instantly is quite a bit of text to read, but this is a problem even huge studios make and also perhaps tells more about my attention span than your pacing. But that would be the only thing that is stopping this game from being amazing in my opinion! I do not know how well the concept translates to longer play time but there is definitely something worth pursuing here. Good luck and congrats on making a very nice game!

I really liked the atmosphere and the visual style. The voxel world looks charming, especially at night, and the opening gives the game a nice sense of mystery. Gathering resources, building up your camp and trying to protect what you've created feels like a fun gameplay loop. I also like the idea of having towns and characters to discover outside your base. Overall, it feels cozy but with just enough tension to keep things interesting.
