I did eventually get the coin in the well, but I didn't see it happen since the camera wasn't following the right coins.  I did get a glimpse of the glow in the background but it was blocked by the popup.

It was fun to mess around with and it was quite cool seeing almost a hundred glowing coins bouncing around.
