This is really fun! Scoring based on the final board state changes the feel a lot. The way each piece can contribute to multiple formations gives the game an open feel in terms of strategy. I like that you can play in kind of a messy way and use the board space as a resource as opposed to just orderly stacking.
It was a bit awkward since the game has to do with speed and I'm forced to use unfamiliar controls, so it would be nice to have custom bindings. Other than that the game is really cool. I like how you can aim for something big, like a full line, while still attempting to get points from small combinations.
My APM isn't high enough to beat that score in the screenshot.
I think the TGM2 up-down piece lock controls work pretty well for this game, and the timer keeps that classic falling block risk reward feeling going. Two questions though; Can you displace pieces? Or am I just not good enough to do it?
