How does your game meet GBJam's theme
SPOILERS:
The "old gold" is both friendship, and a huge pile of gold the people of the town are hiding and sharing for their common good. The main character goes from only wanting gold, to wanting to help, and is later shown the gold pile and given ownership over a portion of it.

Sure! I think the concept and color palette are really nice. I’m not usually much of a Sokoban player, but I still had fun solving the puzzles I could and exploring the town.
I did get stuck on the “Shadow” puzzle, though. There were only 3 animals and 4 X marks on the ground, so I placed a rock on one X and the 3 animals on the others, but the puzzle didn’t seem to complete. I’m not sure if I misunderstood something or if it might be a bug.
Aside from that, I had a good time with it. Maybe a slightly more lively soundtrack that matches the environment could help the atmosphere, but overall I think this is a really solid jam entry. Also, the way the character walks with their legs sticking out to the sides made me laugh a lot haha.
Thank you for playing! With the SHADOW puzzle, you are actually supposed to line up the tumbleweeds, using the cows. As for the animation, I had to work with the space I had, and I laughed at it a lot too.
Really well-made puzzles - the game has potential, but the slow walking is very frustrating. Maybe instead of walking one pixel at a time, we can walk one tile at a time?
Thank you so much! I was considering tile-based movement, but decided against it for player freedom. When the jam is over I’ll make the player faster and the hitboxes smaller to make movement nicer.
Hey sokoban brother :) I wish main character moves faster, otherwise nice music and puzzles. Good job
I got softlocked by permanently burning up a shrub ;-;
Other than that though, the game is awesome! the character art is really cute and the soundtrack fits perfectly, the puzzle design is well thought out and got quite tricky after a couple of puzzles. One minor nitpick is the dialouge speed being slow, though that might be a quirk of porting to webgl. Good work!!
I liked the aesthetic and the characters that go along with the puzzles. I will say though the puzzles take a pretty long time to complete due to the slow character walk speed. I think if the walk speed was increased, it would be faster to fail and retry puzzles, making the game loop more satisfying. This has the potential to be a great sokoban!
Thank you so much! I will definitely increase the walk speed after the jam is over.
Really charming little puzzle game. I liked the Wild West setting, and sliding crates onto the X marks was satisfying. Cute entry. Nice job!
Love the wild west setting, sliding the crates into the x marks along the sliders corridor is a satisfying little puzzle, and a town full of folks with jobs for you gives every puzzle a reason. nice job
Really charming little puzzle game. I liked the western theme a lot. The story behind the old gold theme was also really nice.
Graphics are simple but really nice, and the puzzle game was fun to play. Maybe the music do not perfectly fit with the gb theme but overall well done :)
Thanks for playing! Bitcrushing the song would've been cool, but also would've required more work than the time allowed, so the original was the better option.
Didn't get as far as I'd hoped. The aesthetic is charming and the little song loop is delightfully cowboy, but I got dragged down by the slow walk speed and too precise collision for corners. Cute entry, liked the cow sokoban puzzle!
I'm asking for permission to upload the fix, but for now there's a bug where burning the tumbleweeds makes them impossible to reset. It sucks, but if you want to beat the game, for now, know that burning a tumbleweed is a softlock.
