Neat start to a game, I did find your dad in the photo but then I tried to fill out the form and got stuck in it. Also note, that the input field order is messed up with I believe it was Country and City. Hitting tab jumped past the 1 field then jumped back to it after another tab.

All in all, great work, I'd love to see it expanded.

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I would never have found this bug without you!

That is such a cool idea for a puzzle game !

Know when working with Godot : The Input system actually adapt to the computer the player is using, i actually have a AZERTY keyboard, so the A and Q are switch for me.

So when searching you tell Godot to listen to raw inputs : so the A is still a A,
but to quit you have set it to Q physical : so also A for me.

Not a big deal but still interesting to know :)

Loved your game !

I never even though that if you are writing something with  the letter "q" will make you quite. Thank you a lot for your feedback and for playing!

Very nice game! The computer was a fun addtionion and I liked trying to spot all of the details in the picture! The Sun-tower threw me for a loop at first, but then I pieced everything together!
As some others already pointed out, I think sound effects would be a nice addition in the future, but the game is really solid already!

Yes, we humans are unlucky to have fathers who abandon us right after hatching at the riverside, instead of before.

Cool concept and I like the perspective. The game needs a bit more player feedback, with SFX and the check maybe listing if your close on one of them or show that you got some right in some way for this to feel cozy. I do enjoy puzzle games where you have to solve so I found it quite fun.

Thanks for the feedback

Fun game concept! Looks very good aswell. I only was struggling playing the game with the full screen because the game was to bug in the browser for my screen and everytime I excited full screen the mouse would be anoying.

Thanks for the feedback. I will try to fix this after the jam

I'm pretty sure I have all the right info except for the country... I liked how it was a bit of a scavenger hunt, but as a bit of feedback, maybe make the search more intuitive as a tool. I wasn't sure what was searchable or not.

All in all, great submission!

I enjoyed the little computer and the search feature. also the photo looks nice. I think find anyone tool could also be added to the pc we use to search. Some feedback to guesses could be added. Fun idea!

Developer

Thank you:)

It was somewhat odd trying to move my mouse since every time I left fullscreen it changed where the computer mouse was and the center of the camera's orientation, and I'm not sure what I got wrong on the check data part...

Pretty interesting as a game though, good idea

Thank you for the feed back. It was working in godot and I think it's an issue of implementation to itch.io. I don't know if you can send a private message on itch.io but if you can and want you can send me a message and I can tell you what's wrong.

I don't think such a think exists on Itch, but you can contact me through the Discord server.

Basically has the same name, same pfp as my Itch

I had fun playing this, although I don't think I finished it? I filled in the data I suspected on the clipboard but clicking check never gave any feedback. I assume I was wrong?

I enjoyed this little “detective” game. One can’t say much about it without giving clues but it is cozy enough to give one a nice time using the given references. I’m a composer, so I always miss the music when it is not present! Otherwise, very nice job on this one :)

Love your game!
