Let collaborators edit your game pages with the new game admins feature

I handful of people have asked me if it was possible to have multiple accounts edit the same game page. It’s now possible with the new game admins feature!

A game admin is someone who has access to a game in your account as if they had created it. They can edit the basic data, edit the appearance, they can view the game when it’s not published yet, and they can see all of the game’s analytics.

When a game admin is approved the game will show up in their My games page.

You can find a link to the Game admins page in the Edit game tabs. Just type in the username (or their itch.io subdomain name) in the field. Game admins need to approve access to your game. Send them the generated link to let them get access.

Enjoy!

@leafo Please add granular permissions like requested here: /t/3723327/add-granularity-to-admin-privileges-for-non-admin-team-members

Or at least don’t let other admins edit admins, or at a minimum give me confidence that at the very least they can’t remove me if I add them (the wording in the page makes it seem like this would be possible).

Can added admins remove the original owner? Can they perform other deletions (posts, files) or destructive operations?

Also, are sales shared, or is there an option to do so and share sales between all admins/collaborators? Itch needs a collaborator feature…
