Fun lil arcade game. I kinda wanna install this!

Cool visuals, very replayable. Although kinda hard. It's great!

Good luck with the jam!

(also turns out I forgot I already commented. But hey, now you get another comment!

you're too kind! And thanks about the music! Didn't think I'd have the time to make a song in time but thankfully I managed!

how does one achieve this

I really liked the visuals! It definetly was the best part about the game, I love how the grid streches a bit, it felt like I was playing in a CRT.
I wish the objective was a bit more clear, and some items seemed to be bad for you when they indicated they were good and vice-versa, I think in the future It'd be good to introduce them slowly so you can get used to what they do.
I had fun with this one! Good job!
My highest rating was 1080.

I agree, but I did want to incentivize the "negative" effects for the sake of points, bit of a risk reward thingy. But yeah I do wish I had the time to add A: an objective marker and B: a scaling difficulty as time went on but that's how the cookie crumbles I guess! Thanks for the feedback, and for giving it a go regardless. My highest score in development was 30,000 but definitely wasn't average.
