How did you interpret the themes?
Genre Collision: Survival + Base Building

Built to Survive combines two genres that directly depend on each other: Survival and Base Building.

The player is stranded far from home and must gather limited resources from an unforgiving environment. Those resources are used to construct and improve a shelter, creating a safe place to survive and prepare for the journey ahead.

The survival and building systems are connected rather than existing separately. The player needs to gather and manage resources to build, while the shelter provides the protection and preparation needed to survive longer and continue exploring.

The core idea is simple:

**Build to survive. Survive to keep moving.**

The shelter becomes the foundation of the player's journey back home, turning survival and construction into one connected gameplay loop.
