I enjoyed playing this!! I love the bear friend, and I enjoyed how the merge rule opens up a lot of different chaining ideas, though I can't say I used them particularly well hahaha.

Beat it on my first try.
Didn't totally understand the ruleset; sometimes I'd have the three colors in a row or column, or an L shape, and sometimes they'd merge, and sometimes not.
Feels like the visual effects should be more snappy, punchy, and illustrative of the matches made. The squishy fade-out stuff makes the feedback vague an unsatisfying.
