Scroll down to Tron445's comment, the Dev posted photo updates; But I understand the frustration, hell when Subliminal took ages to release loads of people yelled and stated that they were scamming people since no updates were released nor any interactions with their potential fanbase outside of Patreon. Even the demo they had, you couldn't post about it at all but I'm straying from the topic.

Solo development is hell for programmers and sometimes they do end up in that "developmental hell" game designers call which last months, shit even years. I agree with most of the comments, keep your fanbase updated even if you're ill or cognitively unavailable because it feels that most indie developers use it as an excuse on why something is late. We know life gets in the way, just updating the fanbase makes a whole load of difference. Also "whining" as the other commenter stated isn't the correct term to use against someone that feels as if they were robbed and left out hanging with something that has the potential to be a great mindf- of a game.

(I bought the founder edition 2 years ago and have been waiting for an inkling of an updated version of the game since or just more information on X but even then no updates for 3 years on both X and Youtube)

Frustration 1000% understandable

Thank you. Exactly what I meant. And if course I didn't mean it that I don't care how he feels or his mental state, but, we are all adults. Outside of developing games there's only so many jobs you can given eternal excuses not to complete your duties. I'm a carer and I couldn't use that excuse ad infinitum. A minimum of respect and decorum for the fanbase is the minimum.

And yes, the whining part to a real complaint really angered because it reduces everyone's frustrations to a "stop complaining, you're being unreasonable" and that's not how it works.
