Cute little game.
Here’s an interesting detail. If you start the game on Itch, navigate to a different tab and then back to the game, it will show a pop-up in the style of Opera GX (see screenshot).
I haven’t used GameMaker in a long time, but I know Opera acquired them a few years ago. This UI design looks like a biproduct of the acquisition. Idk I just found it fascinating …

if you could manipulate the plants that would make me happy
thank you! Do you mind explaining what you mean by manipulating the plants? Like being able to change the tree roots or the mushrooms? I did want to add some plant decorations as well that you could choose from but ran out of time and would like to add more things to interact with in the future so I appreciate the feedback :)
and also doing that same with a few other plants a patch of moss that can be swapped to grass or bare stone
I guess I just want more nature-y stuff
