bro wait why are the textboxes stacking on top of each other??? 😭 I talked to someone in town and now the old text is literally broken overlayed on top of the new text so I can't even read what they're telling me to do next!! I got stuck around the spirit woods / crab level area because I can't tell what background stuff is actually a platform vs just decoration and I keep falling off, plus my 8BitDo controller menu navigation is acting up... Is there a trick or fix to clear the text bugs or realign stair controls so I can progress? Absolutely loving the retro Simon's Quest vibe and pixel art (easy 4/5 for me so far), but I'm slightly panicked I broke my save file!! Help please!

You are most definitely playing a very old demo if you’re in the spirit woods lol I’m not entirely sure how you’ve downloaded that one as I’ve removed it ages ago, but I’d suggest playing the proper up to date demo. As for the stacking textboxes, I don’t know. That wasn’t an issue I encounter with the old 2019 demo.
