I really liked this game! The graphics reminded me of the PS1/PS2 era, which was a great time for video games! I had fun figuring this one out. :)

Developer

appreciate you taking the time to play and leave a comment. Thank you :3

Really cool! I like the writing. The graphics kinda remind me of when people slap a bunch of stock images together to make maps of them, but in 3D, it's a really fun aesthetic. I think my inventory bugged unfortunately, because i could only pick up the lighter, so I couldn't go through the door... And I also skipped through the puzzle explanation too fast so I couldn't do it unfortunately, which is a shame because the little glimps of it I got sounded kinda cool馃槶. But one of my favourite entries overall!

Thank you for playing! Appreciate the feedback :3

Great game, it took longer that I'd like to admit to solve the puzzle and getting ending 4/4!

Developer

Honestly I鈥檓 just happy there are persons who were able to solve the puzzle. Thank you playing :)

Oh, I forgot to mention, I had a similar problem to the lag in the web build. Using an older version of Godot (4.5 or 4.6) fixed it for me.

Developer

I appreciate this advice. Waiting for the voting session to be over so I can make the necessary adjustments :3

Finished the game twice, completed the puzzle second time around. I like your writing!

Hard to talk without spoilers, but I have to say I did find the puzzle very vague, I wasn't sure what I was being asked to do. Although I have no idea how It could be presented clearer. After I kind of stumbled into the solution it did end up clearing things up for me though so I do appreciate it in that way.

It seems a little silly in retrospect, but at first I only inspected the items and didn't realize i could (or even should) pick them up, although that's probably on me as you did write it out.
Also I did have some pretty long load times between some of the areas, but I assume that's just the web build being evil as it often is.

Though don't get me wrong, this is amazing for your first project! Will look forward to see what you make next time!

Omg! I鈥檓 so shocked and also so happy someone was able to solve the puzzle. Hopefully as I get more game dev experience I get better at making things more intuitive . I also have an update that will hopefully reduce the load time once the voting session is done. Again, appreciate the feedback. Thank you <3

The atmosphere and art style were really well done, and I honestly went through so many emotions playing this. I鈥檒l admit, though, I couldn鈥檛 figure out the puzzle 馃槶

Yeah, I struggled a bit with explaining the puzzle haha
but it's not required to do, in order to  finish the game.
Appreciate your feedback. Thank you so much for playing my game <3

Third game I tried on stream.
Love the artistic direction, and it was an emotional roller coaster. Unfortunately I did not figure out the puzzle with the star, so I did not get to see the ending(s(?)). But what I did see was amazing. Are you sure this is your first game?
Awesome work!

Developer

I watched your stream. Really appreciated the feedback. Yes this is my first game haha. I've watched tutorials and devlogs a lot but never actually build anything until now. Also the puzzle with the star is optional the game can be finished without it. Thank you for playing <3
