[Windows demo] FIXER — looking for feedback on driving, combat and the first mission

Hi everyone,

I’m developing FIXER, a top-down crime-action game set in Corvine Bay. The free Windows demo includes three missions, driving, on-foot combat and conversations.

I’m looking for first-time players to try the opening 15–20 minutes. The main things I want to understand are:

  • Is it clear where to go and what to do during the first mission?
  • Do walking, aiming and driving feel comfortable and predictable?
  • What made you want to continue—or stop playing?

Reports of visual problems, missing sounds, bugs and stuttering are welcome too.

Download the free Windows demo

Watch 45 seconds of gameplay

The download is approximately 739 MB. Extract the entire ZIP, then run FIXER-Demo.exe. No Steam or Unity installation is needed.

Please leave feedback in this thread. Even a short account of where you stopped and why would help. A first-session recording is welcome but completely optional. If performance is poor, please include your CPU, GPU, resolution and graphics setting if known.

This is an in-development demo. AI tools were used for code, writing, selected artwork and synthesized character dialogue, as disclosed on the game page.

Hey, I came across FIXER and saw that you’re looking for people to try the demo and give feedback. I help indie developers promote their games and reach new players, and I think FIXER could benefit from getting in front of a wider audience. I had a quick idea for it — would you be open to hearing it?
