I can see the potential in this one, but I do NOT understand how we are supposed to input all of the information required when we're only given the ID and weight of the units on their tags. I feel like there needs to be a tutorial explaining how we can identify the units; yes, the game explains that the information is on the ear tag, but the ear tag doesn't give us everything and nothing explains how we're supposed to figure the remaining information out. The end result was my guessing half of the information and getting it wrong a majority of the time, if the amount of jumpscares I got is an indicator.

I agree with everyone that the atmosphere is incredible. I normally hate jumpscares, but this one got to me. The sound effects and lighting are perfect for the environment you want to create. However, that also presents a problem with identifying the units, too. I can't see the faces well at all, so if that's how we need to identify some of the information, there needs to be a way to bring the brightness up. I also feel that the way the faces are turned makes it equally hard to see anything, too. I can't tell the difference between ANY of the ages.

I do hope you come back to this, because this really does have a lot of potential here. But it feels too unforgiving when there's nothing that really explains the mechanics of the game.

I honestly could not get into this one, even after watching Hawk stream it. The game is incredibly unforgiving, does not do enough to tell the player how anything works or what you are supposed to do (despite the long intro), and the scan lines make everything hard to see. I can see the potential for an interesting game here, but the lack of refinement really drags the experience down.

As others have mentioned, the atmosphere and tone are spot-on, and the jumpscares hit hard, so I do think it's worth investing the time to improve the experience.

The atmosphere was really well done, I think the art is definitely a highlight, the "meat" looks uncanny and inhuman, the open window to the "meat" filled me with dread and the dirtiness and darkness of the cold facility set the tone. The game was also complemented with great sound design on both the Jump scare which sounded inhuman and uncanny and the dragged out transfer of the "meat" which creeped me out and raised the tension.

I got up to day 2 and a couple of gameplay difficulties that I'll raise, whether that's skill issue or not, is that I'm assuming that sex and the age of the "meat" is meant to be guessed based on appearance. With a bit of trial and error or just guessing, males have narrow jawlines while females have wider jawlines, this is all good and easily learned in 2 - 3 mins.

But my issue is with age range, it's hard for me to discern what age is what. "Meat" that is 41+ is easier to guess but 18-25 and 26 - 40 is pretty hard for me to discern. I can't really see the difference in the age despite playing for 30mins. I understand that the differences in age is in the face but I can't really see the difference too well. Which left me frustrated with the guessing work. Maybe it's too dark? Maybe the age on the faces could be a bit clearer? Maybe it's the visual filter? I dunno but I hope it gets addressed.

Overall, I really loved this game's atmosphere and tone and can see this game being really incredible if Swiftail continues on to finish it. The first time I got jump scared, I actively recoiled from the screen. I mean it got me really bad. Props to you!

The style and atmosphere was really neat, pretty good sound too I loved the title screen music, it had some decent fallout vibe to it. I felt like the gameplay was kinda repetitive too quick, once I figured out what these "A"s meant it was only guessing male or female. That being said, I think this is a really great base to build a very interesting game on! Just some more interactivity and this could be a ton of fun, I really like the papers please-like idea here. Well done!

i liked the theme of the game, the small window really makes it feel spooky and enclosed. although the instructions said the lever and button were on my right but they were on my left! died a couple times to that haha.

Really cool jumpscare frame! love the way he comes at u like that whoaoaoaoa!  The intro is a bit long, and scanlines hard for legibility

Loved the artstyle, and the sound design really adds that spookiness to the game. I really get a Fnaf/ papers please vibe and I think you did a great job! Can't wait for the full release

I like this idea but the screen effects made it very difficult to read, my eyes kind of started to hurt. I do love the sound design.

The font is really cool at the start and the "Day X" screen, but i think there is too much post processing going on here? Primarily the scan lines, it was really hard for me to play it on fullscreen. I found a bug: If you hover over the bottom on the screen, it'll animate the clipboard the whole time. I think if you lower it, it would be better, because you are actively 'looking down', if you know what i mean. And i couldn't play it more than 2 minutes. You audio said 'click the green button' but there wasn't a button. Submit didn't work, all i could do was 'press G to restart'. Tried it 3 times :/ But overall, i like the aesthetic of the game!

The green button was actually the glowing button to the left! I'm sorry if that wasn't cleared up 😅
