It was a really really old game that released back in 2023 01 08, but its rendition that came before it (Project Butter) released just about the exact same time as another project called Project Omny, which was a really good project at the time!
H.O.M.E's main goal was to sort of familiarize the key environments from a popular analogue horror series titled "Liminal Land" and in this series there was a sub-series called "H.O.M.E" which stood for Holistic and Opportune Mutual Experience!
it was going to be a more story based and lore focused gorilla tag copy completely unrelated to what Gorilla Tag Horror was to come, the lore started simple, You're a On-Sight researcher, and Data recorder, you were sent by a research and containing facility to get information and key note ideas of a new biological threat that had appeared and had began understanding the native language being English, so they began to call themselves home; which was than titled H.O.M.E by a group of scientists who just thought it was cool sounding (Holistic and Opportune Mutual Experience)
but a basic summary would be, a foreign biological existence attempts to re-create what it was manifested in, but it doesn't do a good job and can only rely on this does that but how so instead of trying to figure out why and how things do what they do, home just does it and calls is a thing.
