Hy everyone!

UPDATE (October 2026): All 5 free playtesting slots have been filled! Thank you so much to the indie community for the incredible response.

I am now opening up standard paid testing slots for indie teams. If you need a comprehensive, structured QA pass for your game, please see my updated rates below!

I’m currently studying manual software QA and testing and I'm looking for real indie games to practice my skills on! I’m offering structured playtesting and bug-hunting slots for Mac-supported titles (I especially love cozy games, puzzles and 2D arcade projects, but I’m happy to test any genre!).

What I can do for your game:

- Run through your build natively on an M-Series MacBook (macOS).

- Give you honest, natural feedback on the user experience and interface flow.

- Look out for any annoying visual glitches, overlapping text or broken buttons.

- Write down clear, simple steps on how I triggered any bugs so your team can easily find and fix them.

If you'd like an extra set of eyes to check your game and help me practice my testing layouts at the same time, drop a comment below or send over a message with your project link. I'd love to check out your build!

Rates:

• Basic Demo Pass ($20): Best for quick game jam builds or short demos (under 30 mins). Includes a full playthrough, UX review and a quick summary of found bugs.

• Deep-Dive QA Report ($50): Best for larger builds. Includes intentional boundary/break testing, UI scaling checks and a structured report with step-by-step bug reproduction logs.

If you want to make sure your Mac build runs smoothly before your next update, drop a comment below or send over a message with your project link. I'd love to check out what you're building!

Hy Josh!

Thanks for reaching out to me. I am happy to have a look at your game and see if I can give you some good advice. I just had a quick look and it looks like fun. In the next days I will have a deeper look and come back to you.

Kate

https://canva.link/huddle-waddle      the cute game with adorable penguins hehe I'm rooting for you to pass your study though big achievement good luck ! good rest is also important far to easy to get carried away with code trust me the time dose just vanished like the cat in your game nice game btw il play some more soon ;)

yes that's true time vanishes quickly when you code. As for your project I am happy to give you advice on the game, I could send you a playtest report if you are interested. The core gameplay loop feels incredibly fast and snappy. For the compiling question, I haven't done that myself yet.  And your penguin game looks really cute, I will check that out later:)

Hi! I have one game in particular I could REALLY use help with on this. It's a browser-based game in Twine but it's a management sim (super cozy, not intentionally hard) where you are a coordinator of a repair café within a library. You have volunteers, assign them the work, etc.

There are lots of mechanics and things that could go wrong because I have several systems happening AND because there's a fair amount for them to juggle, I'm worried about the layout being overwhelming or confusing, especially for what to do and where. I'd be more than happy to credit you in the game for your efforts.

No hard feelings if that doesn't sound like your vibe. :)

Hi Charlie Ocean,

sounds like an interesting project. I am happy to have a look at it and see how I can help. Can you send me the link to your game? Is it already on itch.io or still in the making?

Kate

Thank you so much, SunnyandKate! It's in the making, but I will put it on itch.io today for you with a pw. It's just gonna take me a moment since I hadn't created the page yet. What's a good email for you or do you have discord?

(+1)

You're welcome. My email is: sunnyandkate@icloud.com and my username on discord: kate_sunnyandkate

Hello again! Apologies for my delay in reaching back out. The original game I would have loved for you to check out is taking longer than I thought to develop. If you don't already have all of your slots full, I would welcome testing on this game: https://charlieocean.itch.io/borrowing-kais-phone (shorter, maybe 15 minutes total even with a few runs) or this one https://charlieocean.itch.io/pelican-house   (but this one is much longer). Up to your preference in terms of the kinds of games you like to play. No worries if neither of them is your thing. Thank you again for offering this either way. 💜

No worries. Yes I will definitely test them and come back to you afterwards.

Hi,

so I prepared the Playtest Report for the Borrowing Kai's Phone. I already had a look at the other game. It already looks really nice, I like the drawings, but would have to take some more time to read it all :)

Thank you! I'll email you today so it's easy to send anything over but absolutely no rush. 💜

Hi! I am looking for feedback on my sokoban puzzle game. I shifted the pricing last weekend. I am looking for feedback on User Experience, onboarding, and gameplay.  If you need it, I can give you a free key, but the browser demo should have enough content for playtesting.

Kate

first of all thank you for taking the time to pay my game. Also i dont know if the browser for Mac really opened as good as the download for android pc so if it was alittle strange tell me about it.You can tell me your reviews here

I can't add a pdf here and I think it is too long to add the whole playtest in one post.
