Hello, you wonderful internet people!

I'm a solo developer doing game development as a side hobby and I'm proud to have published a first version of Hearth and Wall. :)

https://codingbob.itch.io/hearth-and-wall

It's a mixture of a tower defence/roguelite game with light city/worker management elements you can play for free in the browser.

You need to work around your resources (villagers, wood, stone, gold) to generate enough resources and protect your city from the incoming monster waves. Currently, there are three regions (+1 tutorial region) with mini-bosses and main bosses that will try to take down your wall.

You have a unique building in your town that can transport your whole city to a new region (different amounts of resources, different battlefield, different monsters). Depart early to avoid the main boss of a region (but they will follow you to the end region) or stay overstay your welcome in a region to face off stronger waves and earn resolve (a currency which can be used to purchase permanent upgrades between runs).

-----------------------

I'm looking for all kinds of feedback on the game.

e.g:

- Did you overall enjoy the game ?

- What did you like ?

- What did you NOT like ?

- How do you feel about the city/worker management feature ?

- Does the tower defence aspect of the game feel right ?

- Do the permanent upgrades feel rewarding and are worth chasing after ?

Feel free to take the above questions as a rough direction, no need to stick to them, any kind and any form of feedback is highly welcome!

I would love to hear from you! :)

Kind regards,

Coding Bob

A new major update was uploaded today, expanding on the blight and region features!

I have created a devlog post that explains the new features here:

I would love to hear your feedback on those topics as well.
