I really like the ps1-esque look of the game, especially with the fixed camera angles. However, I felt like the movement was REALLY clunky, and that made it really difficult to get into/through some of the rooms where the camera stayed put but the character hadn't walked far enough to be on the screen yet (mainly because I think I got stuck on a wall or a doorjamb). Then again, I remember that being something that happened with a LOT of ps1 games, so I don't even necessarily think that that one's on you.

I love how the neighbors are drawn in a completely different style from the rest of the game and how each one has enough personality to stand out. I also like how you played with two different "realms" to deal with, it made the game feel extremely surreal at certain points. I felt like the "other" realm was both whimsical (with the brighter colors at some points) but extremely terrifying all at once, and it was a combination that worked.

I think the only real critique I have is that there might need to be a slight bit of player guidance, at least in the beginning. I actually found some of the neighbors before finding the elevator and couldn't figure out why I was asking for a fuse from them until I walked down the hall and found the elevator two seconds later. I think all you need is an objectives log. I also found ambient dialogue from the main character saying something like "oh, there's a screwdriver here" or "I think there's something here," but there was no way to interact with the area. I'm not sure if that was a bug I ran into, but I'm sure hoping I don't need whatever she saw in the pile of trash near the stairs.

Overall, this was incredibly creative and I really liked it. I hope you keep up the good work.

This is one of my favorite games from this jam, hope you continue working on this or make more games in the same style!

Not many other games do fixed perspective camera work and I have to give you alot of credit for trying that out! Its really easy to get stuck on the stairs at the end of the hallway but swapping realms always fixes it luckily!

thank you for playing! the fixed camera was just too appealing to not try haha but sorry about the bug, we'll fix that when the jam's over :)

This looks really creative and unique! I love the atmosphere and the idea of the different neighbor screens. 🖤

I absolutely lovedddddd this game! it's been my favorite so far from all the games I've played in the jam. The low-poly vibe looks amazing here, from the character design to the building itself and the other realm's design. The sound design was also amazing and done really well, along with the puzzles and game controls.
But my favoriteee  part of the game by far has to be each neighbor screen, just because of how freakinggg cool each of them look! I really really loved it and thought it was super creative and unique.
The only nitpick I have would be to add a prompt for doors, maybe, cuz I got confused with them once or twice, especially the bathroom glass door.

Would love to see this game turn into a bigger release with a longer story.
