Is this normal where once i max out a skill, i still study it beyond its max by not switching into another skill in college? The max is supposed to be 100, but i can somehow get even more by not going to switch the enrolment into another skill.

Pushed to level 133 and the research actions during work shifts seems stuck in 95% chance, although i'm supposed to get 85% in max (level 100)

as far as I know, skills don’t have a cap. When looking at the save files, I’ve seen some stats on some characters as high as 750+. So it seems skills don’t have a limit. Cooking especially, the higher the skill level, the more calories a meal is when you cook something.

Believe whatever you want, I'm just stating it as I've seen. If you look at the screenshot, you can see that they're at level 133 too. Which is over the "max"

But upon reaching level 100 and further on them then switching to study another subject, that skill is locked away not letting you study it further... And actions on job involving it won't give xp either.

That is also true. Idk, it's very bizarre to me. I do find it weird that with cooking especially, it boasts such a massive difference. Like the calorie count at level 300 vs level 100 is noticeable. I think a hard cap would make more sense inherently.

This menas the cap only applies when you switch to another skill - when you keep your skill you can pile up xp indefinately?

Just keep studying the skill without switching and you'll be able to infinitelly grind it the way you want, just don't switch to another skill.
