Hi! I'm trying to decide between introducing my group to this or your other Mecha game Case and Soul- do you have a personal recommendation for either? My group is familiar with Blades in the Dark, but not so much other narrative first games like PBTA systems and typically plays more OSR stuff. Either way both games look super charming from what I can gleam off of the playbooks and previews :D Would just like to know your perspective as the creator of both!

Hi! I'd say it really depends on what kind of campaign you're wanting to play. Armour Astir is definitely more angled at big, heroic war campaigns where you're interested in delving into the various factions etc at play, whereas CASE&SOUL is very zoomed in and focused on the party, and generally assumes a much more personal, mercenary kind of party. CASE&SOUL is also definitely designed with shorter campaigns in mind (though I've known people to play longer ones with it and they assure me it works just fine).
Thanks so much for the reply! I'll take a swing at Case and Soul first then!
It Definitely seems more broadly appealing as a "taster" with how few pages it is (A blessing for my group I promise you lol), then if people seem more inclined on a greater narrative I'll propose Armour Astir to them! Thanks again for the reply and have a lovely day <3
