Hi! I'm considering an entry for the 10–12 October Ctrl+AI+Jam.

Your FAQ allows games made entirely with AI. Would an entry implemented and tested by an autonomous AI coding assistant, with the tool clearly credited on the game page, also be eligible?

I'm based in the Netherlands. Before deciding whether to enter, could you clarify:

1. Is entry free, and can a Netherlands resident receive the advertised $50 first-place prize?

2. Which currency and payout method are used (for example PayPal or bank transfer), and are there any verification requirements?

I found the Discord invite linked on the overview and understand winners must be members and claim within two days of the results.

Hi! I'm not sure that I fully understand your question. Are you asking entries from one-shot prompt games where you prompt AI "Make a game about [...]", and have the AI iterate and playtest itself, turning in whatever it outputs without any human intervention or direction after the first prompt? If so, I will make take the time to make the rules and process more clear today, as one-shot games aren't the intended point of this jam.

To clear it up in this moment before I get the chance to be more detailed in the jam description, what is meant by "entirely with AI", is AI creating the graphics, assets, code, and text, but still being directed and prompted iteratively by a human.

There are some AI that do okay with one-shot games, however, the idea of this jam is to push AI as far as you can to create a game that feels consistent in design, style, and gameplay. 

To address the question of prize payout, again thank you for pointing it out and I will add that to the description as well! Any monetary payouts available to winners will be done via PayPal in USD.
