Can’t go wrong with the classics :) Worked pretty well on mobile even, though designed for mouse and keyboard. What was the chain reaction mechanic you had in mind but ran out of time for?

Developer

Thanks! It's nice to hear that it's playable on mobile, haven't tested it myself.

As for the chain reaction mechanic (of the game I was trying to copy, Bust-A-Move 4), after popping some bubbles, bubbles that are no longer connected to the ceiling (basically clusters that are "floating") would fall down (and delete) instead of just floating there. Of the colors of those bubbles falling down, the game would check if there are chains of the same color with at least one empty space around it. It would then treat as if one those falling bubbles is placed at that empty space and trigger popping that new chain. Which may cause more bubble to fall. Which may cause more popping. Hence "chain reaction."

It would make clearing the bubbles a lot faster. Well in the original game it was used for the player vs player / CPU as a kind of back-and-forth. There'd rubble / new bubbles from above and below periodically, etc. See Puyo Puyo Tetris. In the end I just decided to stop it here and added some polish instead.

I'm so glad you made this. One of my favorite types of match games.

Simple and to the point. But would love me a settings menu and volume slider here!
