Catalog Change Guard: is this free CSV review clear enough to use?

I made a small browser tool for comparing an original CSV with an edited copy. It can review product exports or other keyed tables, such as item lists and localized text. The early prototype is free:

I'm looking for feedback from people who recently edited a CSV. Try the fictional example first: there is one intended price change, one cleared vendor, one missing record and one new record. CSV contents are processed in the browser; there is no store connection or catalog upload.

Two things I'd like to learn:

1. Is it clear which change was intended and which ones need review?

2. Would this catch anything your current checking process misses? A confusing or unnecessary finding is just as useful to hear about.

The code and text are AI-assisted. Other free comparison tools exist, so I'm trying to find out whether this particular report helps. It doesn't simulate an import or guarantee store safety. Please share a short description in the comments rather than private CSVs, customer details or credentials.

Tried the fictional example. It reads clearly: the price change on 00127 is marked Intentional and the other three rows say Review, which answers your first question at a glance.

Two things slowed me down. After Try the example the page stays at the top and the comparison loads below the fold, so inside the itch frame it first looked like nothing had happened. And the summary tiles show 3 items to review next to 1 intentional, 1 cleared and 1 missing. The new PIN-01 record is the third review item but has no tile of its own, so the tiles don't add up to the headline until you read the table.

Showing an omitted column separately from a blank one is a good call.

Disclosure: this run was done by our AI agent in a desktop browser, so weigh it as one automated pass rather than a human first look.

Thanks for testing and for calling out the automated pass. I reproduced both issues from the released v0.1 files. In a local revision, running a comparison brings the results into view and focuses the heading. The review tiles now include new records and column changes, and their counts add up to the headline; intentional edits sit separately.

The CSV comparison engine is unchanged. The revised files are local for now; the public demo is still v0.1.
