I want to start this suggestion by saying that I absolutely adore new Mansion system. Visuals alone make Mansion Management much more appealing. I also realized that a similar system can be used to allow player to own and customize their own tavern.
Here's an example of how this system may look like (that was crudely made using this picture I found on pinterest)
Player gets to choose what to build in each of those yellow squares. It can be bar tables, dining tables, strip poles, etc, and assign characters to work there (for example, bar tables employ bartender and require Wit, Poles employ strippers and requires Charm, etc.). Tavern may also include basement and a second floor.
Second floor can be used to build barracks for the tavern employees, private high-class dining rooms, and bedrooms where your employees can "entertain" their clients
Basement can be used for utility rooms, like a kitchen to cook tavern-specific meals that can't be crafted in the mansion and storage to store those meals. Or, in the late game, player may unlock the ability to build some freaky sex-dungeon facilities there that can allow especially skilled workers to produce a lot of money
You may ask question as to why the game may need a system like this, so here's my reasons
1) Immersion. Assigning a character to work in your tavern as a Stripper is way more immersive than clicking Local Jobs -> Service. The very fact that you know that the player know what establishment these characters work at makes this whole thing way more immersive
2) Expanded economy. At the present, wheat field's only purpose is to produce enough bread to feed your characters and have it's remaining grain be sold at the market. Tavern can change it up a bit. Patrons will demand alcohol and meals, so instead of going straight to the market your grain will first be transformed into to the food they demand. If your tavern becomes popular enough you may encounter situations where you have to hire a second wheat farmer or even resort to buying necessary raw food from the market. Same goes for all other food items and even chefs that will be transforming them into meals and drinks
I fully understand that adding something like that to the game will require extreme amount of effort, and I do not expect the dev to implement any of that, but I still wanted to share my ideas
