The game has a cryptic yet cute atmosphere, and I really like that.

I really enjoyed what I played! The style is reminiscent of old school visual novels and I love that so much! I know it was t intended, too, but the placeholders made me laugh because I was not expecting them.

I did run into the same issue mentioned before where, after meeting B, I didn't have evidence and the game ended, but what I played up to that point was fun!

The pixel art for the characters were great and I liked the way you made the backgrounds fit the same style! Also the purple-ish palette fits the retro horror-murder-mystery vibe too. I know it's incomplete but it's a solid foundation and I'm glad you were still able to make it in time to submit it to the jam!

I really liked the retro pixel art style! Is the game incomplete, by any chance? At least, I didn’t manage to find out who the killer was. After visiting the French-themed room and finding that necklace, the game suddenly ended.

I was really curious to find out what happened next!

Hey! Thank you for stopping by and for the kind words.

Yes, this version is incomplete, but I'm on my way to fix issues such as the one you've mentioned and gradually swap placeholders. :)
