Great game that fits the jam theme perfectly! Nice vector graphics and helpful hints so you definitely do not get lost. Considering there are 3 locations, that is about 30 minutes of playtime? That's crazy! ๐Ÿ˜„

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I put some extra effort into the hints because I often get lost in other games myself, so glad they helped. Played your Ash Islands too, really liked it ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi Maks Bumazhkin! This is such a clever spin on the jam theme - turning "chain reaction" into a calm tycoon loop where energy multiplies through a chain of power stations is genuinely creative. The hexagonal map, tile purchasing, and city upgrade progression all feel polished and satisfying. The drag-to-connect mechanic is intuitive from the very first interaction. One of the standout entries for me!

Developer

Thanks a lot! Honestly like 70% of the jam was just me polishing the idea instead of making the actual game ๐Ÿ˜… Glad you liked it

Really clean and cozy look. Watching the multipliers stack up along the chain is satisfying.

Developer

Thanks! Was going for that cozy feel, glad it came through.

I completed the first level. The UI is polished, and the idea of buying land and connecting power plants to gradually grow the city captures the theme really well. With a genre like this, I imagine you had tons of ideas you wanted to include, so it's really impressive that you shaped it into a complete game by the jam deadline.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, I had a few more ideas, like money randomly spawning on tiles and mission objects you could send energy to for extra cash and new tiles. But I'm really glad I dropped them, polishing took way more time than I expected ๐Ÿ˜…

Pretty good! Though it feels a bit monotone from start to finish...

Just a personal opinion but maybe adding a kind of goal for energy production might be good. Right now it's just a "max X multiplier" that can be achieved by linking the power plants pretty much in any order.  A goal (or an optional challenge, more likely) like a "$ 3.00 M/min" would challenge the player to link things more carefully (especially after unlocking new areas) or serve as a comparison for how well they're doing. I made Y million / minute, but I don't know if I'm a genius or just average, or maybe even dumb. That kinda thing.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! The main idea was actually to make something you can just chill with. I wanted it super simple and easy to get, with the focus on feedback, sounds and animations, so it's just nice to watch the numbers run around. Put a lot of time into that part. And yeah, the first level is pretty much linear, there's more variety in the second and third ones ๐Ÿ™‚

A clear and polished game overall. I think some additional interactions with the empty tiles could work well here — for example, building structures or upgrading the transmission capacity of the power lines.

Developer

Thanks! Actually on level 3 there's a new type of object that passes energy through itself ๐Ÿ™‚ It's more of a level design thing there though, since you can't connect the lines directly, so you have to route through them
